But the question is: Does a longer feature list mean better output?
In this review, we’ll start with unboxing and look at its build quality, connectivity, ANC performance, sound output, gaming tests, call quality—everything. At the end, there will be Rating out of 10And mine Personal Verdict।
Unboxing – Boat really impressed with the packaging this time
Upon opening the box, the first thing you notice is Boat’s signature style packaging. Everything inside is beautifully arranged—
- Warranty registration with QR code
- Long user manual
- Sticker set
- Type-C charging cable
- Extra ear tips in different sizes
- And finally the main device—Airdopes Prime 513 ANC
Everything is packaged neatly, which is not always seen in the budget segment.
Design and Build – Leather finish look, but completely plastic
Boat has given the case of these earbuds a “leather-like” look. Despite the leather-like texture, the entire thing is actually plastic. Still, it feels nice in the hand.
What you will find in the case:
- Boat logo on the front
- Front battery LED
- Type-C port at the bottom
- Reset button
The case is compact, easy to carry. However—
The hinge locking system is a bit loose.
This is a weak point, as it needs to have a tight lock in the long term.
Earbud Design – Beautiful look in matte + glossy finish
The earbuds look really good. They have a matte finish with a slight glossy touch. The eartips are soft and seal well in the ears.
My experience in fitting tests:
- Running, jogging, gym – no problem.
- Ears do not hurt even after a long time
- Good grip to stay in the ear
Connectivity and Features – Premium touch even on a budget
Boat has many features:
- Bluetooth 6.0
- Instant Wake & Pair
- Google Fast Pair
- Dual Device Pairing
- Water/Sweat Resistance (IPX)
- 13mm Dynamic Driver
- ANC + Transparency Mode
- Boat Wearables App Support
- Game Mode (claimed 50ms)
- Quad Mic with AI-Nx Noise Cancellation
All of these are very attractive in the ₹1500 range.
However,
No Wear Detection– This is significant.

App Support – Boat Wearables is well optimized
In the app you will find—
- Battery status
- ANC On/Off
- Transparency Mode toggle
- Touch control customization
- EQ Presets: Balanced / Pop / Rock
- Dual-device pairing control
- Firmware updates
- Device diagnostics
However No Custom EQ, can only use preset EQ.
ANC performance – excellent according to the budget
Most brands in this segment just give the name “ANC.” But here Boat really offers effective ANC.
In my test—
- Cuts out 80–85% of background noise in a typical home environment
- Blocks traffic noise well too.
- ANC seems more effective when listening to music
I would rate it as per the ₹1500 range.Top-tier ANCI will tell you.
Transparency Mode:
It’s okay, but it tends to pick up some unnecessary ambient noise. It would have been nice if it was more refined.
Gaming Test – 50–60ms latency
I saw it while playing games on BGMI—
- Latency around 50–60ms
- Enemy location detection is correct.
- Gunshot sound loud and clean
Gaming mode is really usable.
Sound quality – loud, clear and bass-heavy
The 13mm dynamic driver did a good job.
What I got in the sound output:
- The volume is too strong.
- Bass heavy — bass lovers will be happy.
- Vocal clarity
- Treble is well balanced.
- Instruments separation medium
- The overall sound is best on the default EQ.
There is some sound leakage—
People around you will be able to hear at 70%+ volume.
Call Quality – Normal OK, Outdoor Average
Even though Quad mic + AI-Nx is given, in reality—
Indoor calling:
- Up to 75% clear
- Vocals are almost clear.
- There is not much noise.
Outdoor calling:
- 60–65% clarity
- Blocks wind noise
- But the vocals aren’t completely crisp.
This OK for casual calling, but not like a professional call.
Battery – 6–8 hours + 4–5 charges in case
There is also fast charging support.
There will be no problem with the battery during casual use throughout the day.
Rating out of 10 (according to my test)

| Calling (Outdoor) | 5.5/10 |

| Build Quality | 7.5/10 |

✔ Loves bass-heavy music

This is great for them.
Where there is a shortage:
• Calling outdoor could have been better

But these are not a big problem on a budget of ₹1500.
